Health Monitoring: It includes Event Notification system for real time health monitoring and reporting of a single or group (cluster) of geographically distributed servers. System health or physical characteristics such as temperature, fan speed, power module status are standard. Support for performance characteristics which rely upon an operating system agent such as: CPU, memory, hard disk, network capacity and utilization is also supported. |

Lights-Out and Out-of-Band Management: Supports both (OS Independent) In-Band (running OS) and Out-Of-Band (power off) remote power management; features include remote power cycle, reboot, reset and shutdown servers. A server can be remotely powered on or off, irrespective of it's state (whether the server is operational or non-operational). An independent network connection can be used to provide the management. |

Deployment Automation: Support PXE based deployment of software images to servers with or without an operating system installed. Linux and Windows servers are provisioned instantly using multi-cast, and software images are maintained in a repository for ease of management. Servers, even if they are distributed can be grouped by user defined logical, physical, customer names criteria making it easier to distribute images to these servers. Multicast of software images dramatically increases the speed and efficiency of software image provisioning. Pre and Post-provisioning checks to ensure the correct image is deployed and the built in scheduler and policy engine make for unattended software image provisioning. |
