Demand Fulfillment:

Flexible Demand Control, Allows for Flexibility while Decreasing time to Market
In order to fully understand such optimization you have to realize that adequate planning allows for change (flexibility) and not the other way around. Iron Systems takes into consideration that demand isn't always a straight line, but rather from time to time may fluctuate. To be able to respond to such an environment we use a system that manages the material requirements of a project by generating forecasts of actual demand through historical data and that allows for real-time adjustments. To ensure that there are enough materials to execute the production schedule the system manages information pertaining to the materials that are in use, on hand, and on receipt. As demand changes so does the amount of materials needed. To make sure that the product is not pushed off schedule our MRP system generates purchase orders to ensure there is the right amount of components available at the right time. Incorporating a tightly managed MRP system that allows for such adaptability minimizes the effects of demand fluctuation while enabling a client to benefit from a faster time to market.

  • Forecast History Analysis: Iron Systems evaluates and analyzes your forecast often to determine the final outcome of the project.
  • Acceptance Response to Customer Forecast: Iron Systems developed a computerized automation of acceptance system that lets both Iron Systems and the customer know if Iron Systems can accommodate major changes to the original forecast.
  • Daily MRP Calculation and Update: As a benefit to both Iron Systems and you, a Daily MRP calculation and update is automatically conducted.
  • Just-In-Time Inventory Planning and Monitoring: JIT works with the MRP to get inventory.

Material Fulfillment:

Flexible and Proven Supplier Relationship
From you to us and from us to our supplier, we make sure that we have a logistical chain that is unbreakable and that achieves an optimized level of communication. What this means is that whenever a forecast is generated or modified we make sure that both you and our supplier are informed. By doing this it allows our suppliers to stay ahead of the game and enables them to supply us the right amount of components at the right time thus allowing for the efficiency we strive for.

Iron Systems has established integrated long term relationships with all its suppliers and conducts a quarterly audit of each vendor to ensure that their delivery, product quality and product accuracy meet our standards. These two elements allow Iron Systems to manufacture and deliver high quality, economically fit product while adhering to the flexibility and efficiency the company promises.

  • Supplier Relationship: Iron Systems establishes integrated long-term relationships with core suppliers to make certain you receive the best possible price.
  • Supplier Performance Review: Iron Systems conducts a quarterly audit of the vendor to ensure they are meeting our standards for delivery, product quality and product accuracy.
  • AVL/ACL Management (Approved Vendor List/ Approved Component List): To ensure vendors and components meet the standards and criteria we set we manage and maintain a database of qualified, certified, approved vendors.
  • Forecast of Procurement Needs: A forecast is provided to clients and is passed along to the supplier to let them know what we need for you.

Order Fulfillment:

Order Fulfillment and Direct-Customer Ship
After our planning and procurement departments have executed their tasks it is up to our fulfillment department to orchestrate the timely movement of materials through inventory and distribution strategies that are built to save both space and money. Our Inventory Management strategies are built off Just-In-Time and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) ran inventory control processes. JIT will increase your organizations return on investment (ROI), quality and efficiency, while FIFO is enacted to ensure that quality is upheld on all shipped products and components.

Our Built-to-Order and Built-to-Contract production processes are built to ensure your customer's demand is fulfilled right from the production floor. In doing this our goal is to lower inventory costs while reducing market risks.

Reverse Logistics:

Reverse Material Logistics
Even though we adhere to the most stringent quality standards and offer an exceptional quality assurance program we realize that there is still a chance, albeit minimal, for a customer to receive a defective product or part or face a system failure while in operation. Due to this realization we enact something called reverse logistics. What reverse logistics refers to is the taking back, repairing, refurbishment, upgrading, or disposing of a product and/or part. We have a Customer Service and Support team that is responsible for overseeing our reverse logistics services. Their responsibilities include: managing warranty and repair services as defined by our Quality Assurance and ISO 9000:2001, along with managing service requests by streaming them through our Depot Center or Nationwide On-Site Service support. Through these reverse logistics services your customers will one, be assured that their problems will always be dealt with promptly, two, will always receive the quality product they were promised and three, will be empowered with the flexibility, predictability and reliability in products they deserve to have. In reference to the disposal of product/material take a look at our Environmental Policy . Our Reverse Logistics Services relieve you of the headaches that come with post-manufacturing services and provide you with more satisfied customers at a cost-efficient price. This will allow your organization to increase profit margins while achieving pro-longed success.
