Standard 2-Years Limited Warranty
Iron Systems, Inc (“Iron Systems”) warrants that the hardware products it manufactures will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The “standard limited warranty term” is two years beginning on the date of invoice, as explained below in section titled “Standard Limited Warranty; Service Plan Level #1”.
Damage due to shipping the products to you is covered under this limited warranty. Otherwise, this limited warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by Iron Systems, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of components and components not supplied by Iron Systems.

Under this plan, Iron System will repair or replace products (system or component) provided that products are returned to Iron System’s facility first.

Under this plan, Iron Systems will provide advance replacement (same as hot-swap or cross-ship) for products (component only) on an exchange basis. Such a service will be made in accordance with Iron System’s “RMA/Exchange Policy” in effect on the date of the exchange.
To request warranty service, customer must report each instance of hardware failure to Iron System’s Support within the limited warranty period. If limited warranty service is required, Iron Systems will issue a Return Material Authorization Number. Customer must ship the products to Iron Systems in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, insure the shipment and follow the RMA/Repair instructions to avoid the risk of loss or damage during shipment.

To request warranty service, customer must report each instance of hardware failure to Iron System’s Support in advance to obtain Iron System’s concurrence that a component should be replaced and to have Iron Systems ship the replacement component. Customers will be required to secure the replacement component with a credit card and pay Iron Systems for replacement components when the replaced component is not returned to Iron Systems on time. While returning the defective components against the replacement components to Iron Systems, customer must ship the defective components to Iron Systems at it’s own cost, in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, insure the shipment and follow the RMA/Repair instructions to avoid the risk of loss or damage during shipment. The process for returning replaced components, and customer’s obligation to pay for replacement components if defective components are not returned within 10 days of receiving the replacement, will be in accordance with Iron System’s “RMA/Exchange Policy” in effect on the date of the exchange.
Iron Systems will ship* back the repaired or replacement products to customer freight prepaid via UPS/FedEx ground service, if ship-to address is in the continental United States, where applicable; customers should use the exact container. Shipments to other locations will be made freight collect, certain restriction to overseas shipments may apply.

This limited warranty plan cover all products (includes components and systems repairs at any of the Iron System’s authorized repair facility) sold by Iron Systems for a period of two years from the original date of invoice.

This limited warranty plan is an addition to Level#1, and is specially designed for expedited servicing of critical system components for a period of one year from the original date of invoice for “I-Class” products only. It covers components such as power supply, main-board, cpu, memory and disk drives; it does not cover any items that are in any of the following categories:
- All software media,
- Non-Critical hardware components and external devices (except as specifically noted),
- Accessories or components sold as an upgraded for existing Iron System’s system, unless the upgrades components are sold, installed by Iron systems and compatibility is guaranteed in writing.
- Accessories or components that are not purchased from Iron Systems or installed by customer or a 3rd party repair services.
Iron Systems uses new and reconditioned components made by various manufacturers in performing limited warranty repairs and building replacement products. If Iron Systems repairs or replaces a product, its limited warranty term is not extended and is limited to the remainder of the limited warranty terms. Iron Systems owns all components removed from repaired products. In any instance in which Iron Systems issues a Return Material Authorization Number, Iron Systems must receive the product(s) for repair prior to the expiration of the limited warranty period in order for the repairs to be covered by the limited warranty.
Before shipping the product(s) to Iron Systems, customer must back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. Iron Systems does not accept liability for lost data or software.
In addition to above stated “Limited Warranty Plan”, Iron Systems is pleased to offer certain “Service and Support Upgrade Plan”. These programs are designed for customers who require:
Faster Services: Next business day components replacement and
Extended Support: Operating system installation and configuration support for the duration of the warranty.
Under Iron Systems “Limited Warranty Plan”, we guarantee best effort 10-day* components turn around. With this upgrade plan, priced at less than 0.30 cents per day, you are assured next-business day components replacement service and unlimited OS installation and configuration support.
